PROCEDURE ZERO is a first-person stealth game made solo in Poland by DELANIVO GAMES.
You were an auditor. During an inspection you found something in the documents you were never meant to see, and you made a copy. A few days later you are in prison, with no sentence and not even a name in your file, only the word ZERO. Every now and then the lights go out in the block, and when they come back on, one of the bunks is empty. You are next on the list.
You watch the guards, learn their routes and wait for your moment. Switch on a radio or set a cardboard box on fire, and when a guard comes to look, sneak up and knock him out, then drag him into an empty room and lock the door. Not everything can be done quietly: some missions call for a fight, and other prisoners will defend their cells with their fists. Along the way you collect documents that reveal what is really happening in this prison.
Cigarettes and coins are the currency. They buy information, favors and help from other inmates, and keeping your end of a deal earns you allies. In the full game, every mission takes over another part of the prison as you work out who is behind the disappearances.
A free demo with the first two missions (about 25 minutes) is available on Steam.
